Quinoa Burger
Quinoa burgers are a tasty and healthy vegetarian or vegan option for burger lovers. Here is a simple recipe for quinoa burgers:
Ingredients:
1 cup cooked quinoa
1 can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1/2 onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
Salt and pepper, to taste
Burger buns and toppings of your choice
1. In a large bowl, mash the chickpeas with a fork or potato masher.
2. Add the cooked quinoa, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, minced garlic, olive oil, cumin, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well to combine.
3. Use your hands to form the mixture into burger patties.
4. Heat a skillet over medium heat and lightly grease with cooking spray or oil.
5. Cook the quinoa burgers for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until crispy and browned.
6. Serve the quinoa burgers on burger buns with your favorite toppings, such as lettuce, tomato, avocado, and condiments. Enjoy!
